Our History

A few years ago we were presented with the opportunity to acquire 40 acres of range land. We owned two paint mares and had 3 foals at the time on a small piece of property surrounded by city. As our plans to relocate were taking shape we needed to decide on a stud to breed our mares to that year.

We were considering a couple of studs and enjoy studying pedigrees, history and bloodlines and just looking at nice horses. We were in Nevada and got the chance to go check out one of the studs we had seen some pictures of and had bloodlines we were interested in. We like the Skipper W and Hank Wisecamp bred horses, and have done some research on Wisecamps breeding program.

We looked at some awesome horses that day. They had studs, broodmares, foals, yearlings and two year olds to look at. We both came to the same conclusion, these were the kind of horses we wanted to raise. Long story short, we did not breed to the stud we went to look at. Instead we bought another stud they had for sale also with Wisecamp bloodlines. We also bought four young daughters of the stud we went to see giving us a good foundation to build on. With our three mares we already had, a daughter of Sudden Impact, a daughter of Street Legal and a quarter horse daughter of Handle Lena we have some great outcross bloodlines to breed our stud to.

Now we have the opportunity to put together a place the way we want and breed some quality horses. All our mares are pasture bred and foal there too. It's a work in progress, but we are pleased with the direction we are headed.
