Where We Are

We are located in California's Central Valley, northeast of the Fresno/Clovis area. We live in an area called Academy still located on most maps. At one time a small town existed here. The store is gone but the church (one of Fresno Counties oldest), the cemetary, and an historical monument still stand. Our place is dry range land at the edge of the rolling foothills dotted with oak trees. We have coyotes, owls, our resident roadrunner. And every now and then, a bobcat trots through. When it's hot...it's real hot. And when it's green...it's beautiful.
